We are such Snobs.

It's been a busy summer sofar on the block. Just for fun, here's a few recent pics from our neighborhood tea party held by Eagan Avenue's resident "Hostest with the Mostest!" (who else could pull off 4 Barbecues in 5 weeks...) Needless to say, if the new neighbors haven't figured out how crazy we are yet, this probably sealed the deal.
That's me in the green with the GINORMOUS black hat - we all had a great time - even before we broke out the hard stuff. :)
For everyone who is looking for a great point and shoot camera, I would highly recommend the Sony Cybershot DSC-H9. These pics were taken by the aforementioned hostess's husband, with the Sony, and they turned out great I think!

I'm still here....
...just enjoying an extended, extended, extended holiday from the blog. I've got some stuff to post, but haven't gotten to it just yet. More soon. Promise, promise, pinkie swear.
In the meantime, I'd like to ask that anyone reading this please keep the families of the lost B-52 Crew out of Barksdale AFB in your sincere prayers. - PB

Beautiful Girls.

I wanted to share something that will make you smile. This is the baby daughter of a dear friend of mine who I was able to photograph on my recent trip to Dallas. I was waiting until after her shower last weekend to share the pics, as I know she wanted them to be a suprise for grandparents and relatives who attended. So, now I finally get to show them off to the world!
As y'all know, most of the NICU babies I work with never get to go home, which is why you don't see their pics on this blog. However, I'm SOOO happy to report that Miss Stevie Dee will be heading home this weekend, and (knowing mom) I'm sure she'll be greeted with the most ridiculously gorgeous nursery a future diva could possibly imagine! She will also have a very special angel in heaven - who we all know, will continue to be right by her side. God bless! PB
