Allright folks....

...sorry I haven't blogged in a while, but I broke my TOE! Seriously!! Sadly, this isn't the first time my dramatic clumsiness has temporarily cost me a working appendage (Amanda Ducharme, if you are somewhere out there reading this right now, I know you are laughing your head off...and rightfully so..) and I am now limpy. BTW-did y'all know there is NOTHING that can be done for a broken (okay, cracked) toe except ice, motrin, and wrapping it up next to another toe in a clever little concoction the ER nurse called a "buddy wrap?" I was SOOO disappointed to learn this. I felt I had at least earned a splint of some sort.

NOT to worry - if we have a session scheduled - we're STILL ON!! Luckily, I've managed to keep my hands in working order. And I can get around fine. I'm telling y'all, if you have to break (okay crack,... but it REALLY hurt!!) a bone, the toe bone is the one to go for.

I'm scheduling sessions for March now, so please email me if you're interested. AND, AND, AND, just in case you don't know, the reason I'm not always available is because I flat out can't handle the workload involved with several sessions per week. Since I am a FULL time mom to a very active toddler (do they make'em any other way?) That being said, I have yet to meet a client whose schedule I couldn't accommodate - one way or another!

After a much needed break (I enjoyed having January "off") I've got my next session on Saturday - and I'm SOOO looking forward to it. In the meantime, I'll post a couple pics I took recently that I L-O-V-E!! One is of the object of my ultimate affection: my son, and the other is of some neighborhood kids last week when it snowed. I love my neighborhood. Ya'll enjoy!

Have a good weekend! -PB

The Blog is back...

...Okay, so I have been a bad girl blogger as of late, but I promise to be better! After all, isn't this the time of year for those pesky things we call resolutions? To catch you up...after a wonderful holiday, we took a little time to travel and enjoy our dear friends & family! We enjoyed a wonderful trip to Washington D.C., and then we just got back yesterday from another trip to Orlando where my hub-a-licious ran his 4th marathon! Crazy heat and humidity contributed to a tough run, but he finished well, and we really enjoyed Disney World!! D.C. was absolutely magical this time of year as well, and I was so happy to get to see Arlington National Cemetery decorated with the wreaths - truly touching!

Santa was way too good to me this year. Christmas Morning brought a shiny new lens that I had been dreaming of and wishing for and...well, y'all get it. I've had little time to play with it, but luckily my neighborhood houses two of the most handsome (and charming, and intelligent, and well....I could go on....) young men who are nice enough to "model" for me whenever I'm trying out new glass. I'm posting a couple of the resulting shots - I'm pleased with them, and again, am thinking of opening up my services to include teenagers/seniors. These guys make their whole generation look good. And they are TOO much fun!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE - Here we go!!!
